[ 01 ]  Our read on this market

The CRM stopped being the interesting part of the revenue stack. Data enrichment, intent signals and agentic outbound now sit upstream and do most of the work; the CRM is increasingly a warehouse with a UI. Buy the record system for durability and governance, and expect to buy the intelligence separately.

What to weigh

  1. 01

    Data model flexibility

If your business does not sell in classic contact-company-deal shape, rigid object models will cost you dearly. Check custom objects early.

  2. 02

    Enrichment economics

Credit-based enrichment is easy to overspend on. Model your waterfall and cap it before rollout.

  3. 03

    Deliverability risk

Agentic outbound scales volume faster than domain reputation can absorb it. Treat sending infrastructure as a separate, deliberate decision.

  4. 04

    Exit cost

CRMs are the hardest system to leave. Confirm full historical export including activity and custom fields on day one.
